About Richard Grunder, Franchisee & Lead Inspector of HouseMaster Home Inspection Service of Santa Barbara County
Born and raised in Ojai, Richard Grunder got his start in the construction trades in 1982. Richard’s construction and home inspection background includes experience in numerous trade positions including management positions with industry leaders in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties as well as international construction project experience. Richard Grunder has proven to be the local home inspection expert as a community writer in the Santa Barbara News Press since October 2005. His articles include:
Richard is trained and certified as a home inspector with the National Institute of Building Inspectors® (NIBI®) and the California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA). As part of Richard’s NIBI Certification he is tested annually.
