HouseMaster Awards $5,000 Home Inspection Sweepstakes Grand Prize

Sherwood Park, Alberta - HouseMaster®, the first and one of the largest home inspection franchisors in North America, has announced that REALTOR® Stan Gallant of Royal LePage Noralta Real Estate, Inc. won the grand prize in HouseMaster's “Choosing the Right Home Inspector is Key” sweepstakes. Gallant was awarded a $5,000 (USD) prize by Greater Edmonton area HouseMaster franchisee, Terry Fikowski, on January 2, 2009.

The “Choosing the Right Home Inspector is Key” sweepstakes launched in January 2008 and served as a reminder to consumers and real estate professionals that not all home inspectors offer the same level of service and have the same technical aptitude. As such, finding the RIGHT home inspector with the proper training and certifications is a key component in making sound real estate investments.

“This sweepstakes is just one of the many tools HouseMaster uses to thank our customers and build reputable relationships with real estate professionals to improve the overall home selling and buying experience for all parties,” said Kathleen Kuhn, President of HouseMaster. “The end goal is providing an education on the home for consumers and fostering communication between the home inspection and real estate industries to better serve clients.”

In addition to Fikowski's office awarding the grand prize for the sweepstakes, his office in the Greater Edmonton area recently celebrated its 25,000 inspection milestone.
