Seller Inspections

Although home inspections are generally initiated by buyers, an increasing number of sellers are opting to get a home inspection done on their homes before listing. This way, they have a more accurate picture of the condition of their home - which helps to price it for a quicker, more hassle-free sale. If your real estate market is hot, getting a home inspection done at listing is a great way to help meet your legal disclosure requirements so you can move on to your next home with peace of mind. If your real estate market is not so hot, then getting a home inspection before a buyer comes along will move the home inspection from a time of disadvantage to a time of advantage.

What we Inspect

A standard HouseMaster home inspection includes an evaluation of all the major, accessible elements and systems of a home, including built-in major appliances and is performed according to industry standards. For a copy of the applicable standards in your area, ask your HouseMaster office. When calling your local HouseMaster home inspection office, ask what other services may be available. Your local HouseMaster office may also offer or arrange for additional services, such as septic and well evaluations, pool or lawn sprinkler inspections, radon testing, stucco evaluations, etc.
