NIBI® Certification Program

Most professionals involved in real estate are shocked to learn that in many areas the requirements to be a home inspector are minimal, if they exist at all. To the detriment of trusting home buyers and referring real estate professionals, most home inspectors are self-professed/self-taught “experts” whose only source of education is trial and error.

Many of these independent inspectors lack professional liability insurance, compounding the problem for home buyers and those that recommend them. As a HouseMaster franchisee, your office can offer inspectors who carry comprehensive professional liability insurance and who are trained and certified through the National Institute of Building Inspectors (NIBI).

NIBI is a nationally recognized home inspector training and certification organization. Certification is only achieved through successful completion of the extensive NIBI classroom and field training curriculum. And NIBI inspectors must re-certify on an annual basis. NIBI Training is open to the public, but only HouseMaster franchisees and their employees can take advantage free of charge!
