Wood is being burned in fireplaces, stoves and insert stoves. Whichever way it is used, there are several safety suggestions that should be heeded. Always respect fire and its potential. Never leave anything to chance -the old adage of "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is quite appropriate.
